One of these photographs depicts a member of the genus Loxosceles, which includes the Brown Recluse spiders. Spiders of North America, p. 222, says that all member of the Family that includes the Recluse spiders have "six eyes... arranged in three diads forming strongly recurved row." Choose carefully. The spider photographed in a member of the Loxosceles, but it is not Loxosceles reclusa.
